Gama Vally situated in Tingri County, Shigatse, Tibet. It is a popular attraction with snowmelt rivers, grassland and counless mountains around. Tradruk Monastery is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in Tibet. Tradruk is said to have been the second of Tibet’s earliest great geomantric temples after the Jokhang, and some sources even place it earlier.

Samye Monastery is said to be Tibet’s first monastery and also the Top 1 University. It was constructed in the 8th century by King Trisong Detsen. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times. Today, only a fraction of its original 108 buildings survive. We choose to visit here because we want to see the marvelous historical architecture and precious murals.

Norbulingka, which means Treasure Garden in Tibetan language, is located in the west side of Lhasa, near the southwestern Potala Palace. It is the largest artificial garden in Tibet, covering an area of about 89 acres. As part of the “Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace”, Norbulingka is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
